Hello Reader,
Today we say goodbye to May and hello to June....and SUMMER!
Come out and meet other Reclaimers like yourself looking to connect to our Reclaimed Story Community! Drop in or stay for awhile. We look forward to seeing you there! Thursday, June 2nd, 6:30-8pm at Starbucks in the Rooney Ranch Shopping Center. 10615 N. Oracle Rd.
Maybe your summer is already filled with fun plans, or maybe your plan is to have no plans at all! Whatever your summer holds, as our Reclaimed Story staff takes time to refresh and reclaim time with our families, we hope you will do the same. Sometimes as we take time to slow down, God can speak more clearly to us. Maybe you are wondering what plans God has for YOU next?
SInce we are pausing our podcast for the summer, we will be featuring a 'past' episode each week for your enjoyment!
Think God is finished with you?
In this week's Living The Reclaimed Life 'REWIND', we interviewed Nancy Nelson. She was our very first guest in Episode #3 of Season #1 of our Podcast, because, well, she is the glue that keeps this organization running and we LOVE her!
God brought Nancy and Denisha together as they both worked at the same church. Nancy, as an executive assistant for 28 years, and Denisha as a pastor for 10 years. Never could they have imagined that they would be working together leading Reclaimed Story! Nancy is our Executive Assistant.
Hear the God story that got Reclaimed Story started and Nancy's encouragement to you if you have ever wondered if God was finished with you! You can listen to this episode HERE, on your favorite podcast platform, or on our website.
Season 1, Episode 3: Is God Finished With Me? |
Through our extra fundraising in April and May, Reclaimed Story brought in $2,525 in 'new' donations and we have five new (i.e first-time) donors. A big thanks to these new ministry partners, and to everyone who funds the ministry of Reclaimed Story. We celebrate what God is doing!
Jesus has been reclaiming stories for over 2,000 years. With truth wrapped in compassion, Jesus gently entered stories that from a human perspective seemed broken beyond repair....but in one life-changing encounter with Him, lives were transformed and reclaimed.
In the month of June, we will be featuring two Reclaimers Of The Bible in our bi-weekly blog, whose pain was healed and whose stories were reclaimed in Jesus Name!
Reclaiming Our Time This Summer Together,

What if we are struggling to hold on to hope and to believe that God really CAN heal and restore what's been broken? In this week's blog and podcast, John and Angel Beeson share their journey from brokenness to restoration in the first of a two-part series. ON THE BLOG...
Hello Reader, This month we are talking about how to hug a cactus. In other words, how do we love those prickly people in our lives and do it well? One way that we can love them (and ourselves) is to set boundaries. You may be thinking, isn’t it selfish to set a boundary with someone you are supposed to love? Let’s ask a different question. What do you need to be the best version of yourself for them? Gain some practical steps in this week's blog and podcast. ON THE BLOG: HOW TO IDENTIFY...
